SBR transaction performance statistics

Note:  From week 40 there will be changes to the format of the performance timings.  The new format will be presented as bracketed timings (ie: <1 second, 1-5 seconds, 5-10 seconds, >10 seconds) as a result of your feedback.  This replaces the old Minimum, Maximum and Average timings previously published.  Also for SBR2 ebMS3 the term ‘Transaction’ will be replaced by ‘Transmission’. Other than these changes, the document will remain the same.

These reports show performance times for forms, reports and schedules lodged through Standard Business Reporting (SBR). We expect this data will help you manage the performance of your software and the expectations of your clients.

The data represents point in time (historical) information. We have ensured the information in this document is as accurate as possible. The information represents past usage of the SBR production and test environments, which is not necessarily indicative of the future performance of these services.

The target benchmarks are 5 seconds per single document.

Note:

  • number of business services have multiple documents such as non-individual returns
  • list services will not generally meet these bench marks
  • all data in this document represents single synchronous transactions
  • at this point in time we are unable to provide timings on asynchronous transactions.

We are continuing to work on improving the usability of these statistics.

These statistics will be updated weekly. For more information and to provide feedback, please email the SBR service desk or phone on 1300 488 231.
