Specifications

The accepted specifications and versions for the 2019-20, 2020-21, 2021-22, 2022-23, 2023-24, 2024-25, 2025-26 financial years. You will be required to use these if you are developing software to lodge electronically. A list of validation tools has also been included.

A final electronic reporting specification (ERS) Annual Investment Income report (AIIR) version 14.0.0 has been published.

A final Annual investment income report (AIIR) PC spreadsheet format version 8.0.0 has been published. This specification contains the data requirements for the 2025–26 and subsequent financial years. Only version 8.0.0 will be accepted for the 2026 and subsequent financial years.

Intergovernmental FATCA XML Schema

A director identification number (director ID) is a 15-digit unique identifier given to a director that has verified their identity with Australian Business Registry Services (ABRS).
