Remittance advice and recovery notice (RARN) specification draft v4.2.1

A Draft electronic reporting specification Remittance advice and recovery notice version 4.2.1 has been released. Clean and tracked versions have been published for your information.

This specification is to be used in the development of software for the electronic lodgment of the Remittance advice and recovery notice.

The Electronic Commerce Interface (ECI) is closing and this draft of the RARN electronic reporting specification details the replacement channel and the requirements that will enable reporters to receive a RARN via online services.

Changes

• Removed ECI references throughout the whole specification and update with online services.

Interested software developers are encouraged to provide feedback on this draft specification to the Digital Partnership Office at DPO@ato.gov.au by close of business 16 January 2020.
